It’s impossible to talk about energy without talking about Marcellus Shale. The industry is one many say will create 100,000 jobs in the state by year’s end and contribute $8 billion to the economy in 2010. But others are wary, saying it’s too early to tell and that the effects on the environment need to be closely monitored. One thing is certain: Pennsylvania needs an economic boost.
